one difference between birth and death is the arrow of time. at conception, everything that is happening is for the purposes of living and there is activity prior to the heart beating. otoh, after child bearing age, the body is heading for end of life. they're not exactly analogous. it seems to me that for your point to be the case, life would have to be a palindrome
