My only point is that it seems to me a lot of pro-lifers only care about life up to the point a child is born and are not so much concerned about the quality of life after birth, which in too many cases sucks for these innocent kids born into terrible situations.
So, you'd be on board with outlawing Bad Parenting? Punishable, enforced and therein practical? Taking away the Freedom of bad parents to act in ways that are harmful to their child? And at some point in the near future - Genetic Engineering mechanisms becoming applicable - honestly assessing and acting on negative-impact Genetic characteristics which negatively impact quality of life scenarios for those children who are (immorally/impractically)'allowed' to be born by a morally/practically 'malfeasant' State which tolerates parent's right to bear children with those negative Genes?
Caring and good intentions is one thing...successful action is another.
