if they can prove that his death was a result of him being pushed off of the bus, which seems like it wouldn't be hard, it seems like it would be an easy case for aggravated manslaughter at the very least.

I don't think the time between the incident and his death would make it any harder to get a murder conviction than had he died immediately, if you shoot someone in the head and they linger for 5 weeks, you're still charged with murder. I think this would be a manslaughter charge either way
