And you ask "REALLY?".

In what world is Miles' 15-11 record considered better or on an improved trajectory over Eaux's 15-7?
Les' last full year was 5-3 in the SEC. O's last year was 5-3 in the SEC.

Are things slightly better now than Les' last few years - yes, I agree. But the difference is not huge, and we were sold on O immediately elevating the program to championship level, which hasn't happened.

I keep hearing this but I never see any evidence of immediate promises for championships.

I know he told Will Clapp they were going to the championship when he was hired but that's all I can find.

Promises

Orgeron said his love for the state will never fade, and he can’t wait to build LSU into a program that he believes can contend for titles – all titles.

How were you sold on this? From the coach saying he expected LSU to play for championships? Did he say immediately?

You can't be so naïve that you would even think this was going to happen immediately can you? I thought I was an Eaux fan. You got me beat by a mile.

I must admit though that when I saw LaCouture play every snap of the game against Mississippi State in 2017 I knew that LSU had the talent and depth to win it all that year.

And when two true freshmen - Charles and Ingram HAD to start on the Oline in 2017. I said the astonishing wealth of depth on the Dline doesn't even matter. When a team has to have 2 true freshmen on the Oline if they don't win the NC there is something wrong.
