Obviously taste is subjective and we can only go off our own experience . . .
Food elsewhere is nowhere as good as in LA. The handful of things that are keepers in TX are BBQ and beef fajitas at Lupe's. Everything is else is relatively bland.
Heck, there's more flavor in a bite of Popeyes spicy than most other ethnic dishes.
