To even hint that Shapiro lost that exchange in any way is I suppose a testament to his impressive spontaneous intellect where any perceived "slip up" is tabbed a "loss".
After watching the video, I was actually feeling sorry for the old man and then I'm reading how Shapiro "loss the exchange". And people wonder why law enforcement often consider first hand witness accounts unreliable. Ones personal bias can corrupt anyone sense of reality.

The POV that he either “won” or was “destroyed” is based purely on how the person felt about Shapiro before watching one second of the video.
