China has already lost more hogs to ASF than the US has in total. That’s correct, if the ASF was in the US on the same scale we would have zero hogs.
There is a protein cliff the Chinese are facing on top of everything else.
I saw that Iowa, and the cost of chicken has skyrocketed.
Here is the irony, US pork is one of the things chini put a tariff on, and Smithfield, the largest US producer of pork, is owned by the chinese......Im certain they got a break on the tariff but that right there is funny.
