Any luck getting a refund from Hotels.com?

Booked a package through them including hotel, flight, shuttle, and day trip to the ruins. Decided before we left we didn't want to do the excursion so we canceled it beforehand with confirmation that it was done early enough to get a refund.
Nearly 2 months and 6 calls to them have come and gone since canceling and they still can't process it. I have no idea why it's so difficult.

Dispute it on your CC with your evidence that it should be refunded.

The only problem is because of an itinerary issue it still shows as completed. I'm trying hotels one more time tomorrow and if I don't get anywhere still I'll go to Discover. Another problem may be it was part of a package so it's not a single standalone charge for the canceled item. It's one amount for everything.

Yeah, hate to say but they will claim it was part of the package you booked and if you didn't show up that is on you

Every time I've called they've confirmed with me that I cancelled in enough time to get a refund. They're just having issues processing it for whatever reason. Or at least just saying that.
