I don't know where that insecurity comes from.
They cannot make a case for this current coach without using other coaches to prop him up in some way. Inevitably past events involving Miles, Herman, Jimbo, and even Saban are used to prop this coach of ours up.
If he's such a great coach, they should be able to prop him up based on his own merits, like saying Miles won 2 SEC championships and a NC, or that Mullen coached Mississippi St to a #1 ranking. Those are things they did.

This is retarded. Why would anyone have to make a case for the current coach? He's already proven that he's capable of doing the job. That ship sailed already. That's one that the negatives lost already.
