Nope.

Shity people and shity City.

Just a bunch of basic buildings built on the plains in Illinois on a cold arse Lake. There are zero redeeming qualities about Chicago.

I disagree. Chicago is a decent city IMO. The people are generally good, at least the ones I know and met. I can attest to that as half of my family is from Chicago area and some great people with expected exceptions.

Chicago sports fans are generally terrible. I can attest to that fully. Besides some diehard Cubs or Bears fans, their loyalty shifts at any moment. Most have no stake at all, but when a team is doing well, they are all in.

I was at 1990 Saints vs Bears 6-16 playoff game in Soldier Field and their fans were terrible. We were wearing Saints gear but weren't pea-cocking in any way. I personally got about 50 snowballs pelted into me. And my friends as well.

My dad RIP taught me lessons on respect at Saints games in the 80s. And my experiences with Chitown "fans" cemented it.

No one stepped up to stop the snowball pelting, but I will tell you to this day I personally have stopped Saints and LSU fans around me from being physically abusive to opposing fans. And it's generally rare for us, just some too young testosterone.

We've won two football NCs at LSU in last 15 years, a Superbowl, a complete railjob last season and stuff prior and yet we didn't burn our cities down in celebration or despair.
