The north shore is the most up and coming place in south LA. Especially for young and middle age professionals. Lots to do and great distance from the big fun of BR and NOLA.

If I left BR, that’s where I’d go.

2 convenient interstates (12/55) basically equidistant to NOLA/BR and a decent sized university. Not quite sure why Hammond hasn’t grown more as a city.

I love the centrality of the place. Hoping to be moved in enough to catch the Ole Miss game Sunday. Haven't been on campus since I was enrolled a thousand years ago.

Hammond is not the NS. I'm from the NS and live in Hammond.
