Don't forget that you will need a local occupational license from your parish as well. Typically issued by the sheriff (as tax collector) and priced according to your annual revenue.
If your office is home-based, you will likely need to go through local planning and zoning office as well. P&Z usually makes you advertise via a sign in your yard for 10 days to allow any neighbors to inquire/object before a home based business is allowed.
