Does the military use physical punishment to install discipline? Does the military have problems with insubordination?


The military disciplines adults, not children, who respond differently to aggression because of their developmental state. The American Academy of Pediatricians has recently confirmed that it believes spanking is both ineffective and harmful in the long-term.

They've had studies that have showed the opposite too.

Each child is different and I think some things will work for some children and those same things may not work for other children. It's about finding a balance for each child. And the best research as to what works and what doesn't work for children is done by their parents.
