Results

Jakob coming incredibly close to losing it on the downhill

Feel good for Jakob. Been agonizingly close this season at multiple races and finally broke through. Also, even without Peter Bora rode super well rounding out the podium with Davide Formolo taking 2nd and Maximilian Schachmann took 3rd. All and all another great classic. Now onto the grand tours with the Giro starting May 11.

That has to be one of his first big wins. I'm happy for him, he always struck me as a good rider when he was on Leopard Trek with the Schlecks. Fun story, I sat next to him on a flight into Florence. The guy was so tiny.
