yea, i remember when my wife's mom passed away. the whole family was at their house cause she just got home from hospital. Things went south. I took my kids in the spare bedroom and they were crying and scared. They asked me what was happening and had to tell them their maw maw was going to heaven.

So just be honest with the boy. It's all you can do.
