The announcers, not WV folks and not exactly what you'd call folks that blend in or have spent much time around real southern rednecks, we're obviously shaken after the comments.
One guy When wrapping up the broadcast even called him a huge biggot. I hope the champ didn't hear him.

I’m assuming the announcers are Prez and Big Cat.
Prez is from Boston and started the company, and Big Cat is from Chicago and has the #1 Sports podcast in the world.
So yeah, neither are exactly rednecks, and neither can afford to condone such language.
Still fricking hilarious though. I can imagine “Middleman Dan” aka Big Cat freaking out over it.
