Days like today remind me of how ignorant the average person is with respect to probability.

Weather doesn't give a rat's arse about who lives where. If a tornado blows through BR, everyone thinks this forecast was undersold if it blows through the basin, people think it was a bust.

I'd suggest two things for most of you going forward:

1) get all of your information from Weather.gov.

2) try to use the slightest bit of critical thinking when looking at the maps/forecasts
