The Federal and La Gov'ts need to stop subsidizing and encouraging single parenthood. Being a single mother isn't empowering, and no matter how strong or independent you think you are, you need a co-parent. Otherwise the deck of statistics is greatly stacked against you. Period.
74% of black babies born to single parent households is absolutely undoing them. There is no way around it.
