I am looking for a phone holder to put on the frame of the golf cart (both personal cart and course cart). AmpCaddy recently came out with one that looks pretty sturdy. I would want something that is going to not bounce too much when i'm driving the cart.

Anyone had experience with any phone holders? I saw one on Amazon ( LINK) that has good reviews but i don't think I need anything with that long of an arm.

On a somewhat separate note, anyone have experience using the AmpCaddy speaker?

Caddy Buddy

I've had one of these for a 4 years and it works perfectly.

I know it’s on the expensive side but I use Ram mounts in my Jeep and they are very secure.

Caddy Buddy has a lot of great features based on my research. The feature that I liked in the link in my OP was it would take both an iphone and an ipad. During football season, bringing an ipad out to the course to keep track of the games would be pretty badass. We brought an ipad out during the NCAA tourney and watch games while we played. I will admit that there were times we were a little slower because we were watching the game but we also would bring the ipad with us to our shots (cart path only) so there wasn't a tremendous delay.

All the courses I play are crowded and slow anyways so it's not like I'm causing a massive delay behind me.

There are 100's of options to mount different devices with Ram Mounts but the downside is they are not cheap. The Caddie Buddy is a nice alternative. I also keep a UE Roll speaker in my bag.
