Curry is 6'3

Waters is 5'9

That's a pretty gigantic difference. Show me sub 6 foot players drafted in the 1st round of the NBA draft last decade

I don't think anyone is insinuating that Waters can become a first round pick if he has a good year next year. However, if he enters the draft right now HE WILL NOT BE DRAFTED. He DOES have something to gain by coming back to college. There have been sub 6'0 PGs who have improved their stock by returning to college and playing better in later years.
