2019 Clash of the Cooks Jambalaya cookoff April 27th at new Ochsner Highgrove medical facility. Charity event to help five local families battling cancer. It will be a family friendly tailgate atmosphere with local band performing, snowballs for kids and all the jambalaya you can handle.
Early bird tickets end this Sunday:
$25 for ticket to sample all the jambalaya and (4) beers
$10 for ticket to sample all the jambalaya
There will be beers from Bayou Teche, Tin Roof, Abita, Southern Craft, Gnarly Barley, Crying Eagle, Chafunkta

So far we are close to 30 teams entered.

Great event for a great cause.

I saw your email a few weeks ago and unfortunately won’t be able to make it. I will make a donation, however.

Yes we are still accepting teams, Sunday is the deadline.
We will have a band out there but teams can bring their own music and beer as well

I don't know if Walt can contain himself at this type of event. You should probably just ask for his donation and post pics afterwards for his viewing pleasure.
