Wrong. The point of charters is to allow variances to state rules that are tied to money. Congrats. You learned something today.
The charters can try things that regular schools/systems can't. But there are still very strict measurements/student achievement requirements tied to those freedoms.

Better yet, let’s completely abolish the DOE
Why are you for increased spending on charters and abandoning the DOE?
You don't see inconsistencies in that position?

So, in your school district there are charter schools and non/charter schools (traditional public schools) and kids are assigned to these schools based on their home address with no differences between the two types?
In other words, a child is assigned to a school by the school board and it could possibly be either a charter or a traditional school?
That’s a new one on me. I pretty much assumed that charter schools and school choice went hand in hand.
Now then, here’s another question. Are you stating as fact that the charter schools are being given more money per student than traditional schools in the same district under the Devos/Trump plan?
Are you certain that the “extra money for charter schools” isn’t actually money spent to facilitate additional charter schools in districts that need assistance in getting them started?
