In business, you say? Are they showing favoritism between different charters?

I didn’t know that public schools are businesses.

So, in your opinion, the President can’t make a policy change to reduce federal spending of some programs, and enhance spending of other programs?

You think it’s illegal for the administration to support freedom of choice for public school children (often poor districts) by enhancing funding to charter schools in those districts, while at the same time reducing federal spending on transitional schools, often for programs with little demonstrable positive results?

Why don’t you just say that you don’t like the idea of charter schools? No need to be accusing people of committing crimes.

First off... why should charters be increased when everything else is cut? Explain your position.

Welcome to 2019. You can personally start your own charter school. And as principal/president of the school, you can pay yourself a handsome profit/salary.

The department of education is profiting certain businesses over others. That is the definition of choosing winners and losers. And that is not the purpose of the federal government.

I live in a charter county (the entire county falls under this chatter ordinance). I have 4 kids in the school system. I am on 4 separate school governance councils. I'm very familiar with all things charter.
Why should a charter get preference over non-charter?

And school vouchers isn't the law of the land. Wtf are you talking about?
