If your resume is as strong as you make it sound, what’s the risk? At worst the startup goes belly up, you’re out of work for a year, then you’re back in the game at near the same level bc your experience and skills are still great. You said you have the cushion to do that. IMO you may regret not doing the startup thing later on if it’s as solid as you say
