And our depth is allowing us to rest guys more than we have in the past. And the coaches are talking about it more than they have in the past (it feels that way at least, may or may not be true).

I think this is the main thing. In years past most of these guys would be pitching through soreness. We have the luxury of bringing them on slow this year so we are.

I wouldn’t even be surprised to see someone like Hess take off for a start at some point in the season after Hill comes back and if Hilliard can get back to normal.
