The Pac-Man game got the console into many homes, but Activision had a very high average quality.
My go to Atari (we didn't give it any number back then, baws) games were:
Atari/Sears
Missile Command
Space Invaders
Joust (I honestly believe I was one of the best 100 players in the world at this game in 1983. I could beat anybody 9 games out of 10)
Defender (Conversely, even though I loved the game, I never got very good at it.)
Activision:
Rampage
Commando
Chopper Command
Pitfall!
River Raid
Boxing
Tennis
Starmaster
Grand Prix
Dragster
Pretty sure I had Donkey Kong by Coleco, too.
