I understood the initial suspension of Wade, but if there is interdepartmental politcking going on, then those in the compliance department need to be put in their place. They work under the president and AD, not the other way around. I just can't fathom that this is all there is to the story. It almost seems to me the AD is using this as a cop out to garner support from the fanbase and BOS by passing the blame to others rather than just being proactive and addressing what needs to be addressed. That would be like a regional manager blocking the CEO of a company from conducting business and the CEO caving. In no universe would an underling ever try to usurp the authority of his boss and expect to keep his or her job.
But one thing is for sure. I, for one, am sick and tired of this play out in the media. All that is happening is all involved are making themselves look incompetent and dysfunctional to the national media.

A slew/slough, whatever, of LSU's big money people need to cut off their $ stream.
These bitches at LSU will bend when it comes to money. They are all so up and above board all of a sudden but let the money stream run out and they'll be kissing some serious arse.
They want to be all righteous and ethical but when it comes to the $, they need their asses handed to them.

Joe and Fieldon are putting this out there to get heat off of them, but it’s also the legit story. They were fine just meeting with Wade after the second Yahoo report came out and going from there, then compliance stuck their nose in it like they always do. In most athletic departments, the AD would tell them to get fricked, but sadly Joe is a massive pussy and is terrified of bad PR. If he’d just grow a spine for a minute, Wade would have the meeting he wants and we’d finally have some resolution to this stupid situation.

All we have to do is look at the obscure federal Judges who are stopping legally made decisions by the President of the United States. The standard is being set for chaos and disorder.
