So basically he just lost all credibility from here on out.

It never made sense that an associate AD somehow purportedly had the power to shut the whole operation down while the actual AD just sat there helpless.

Basically they had no idea there would be this much backlash & are going in circles as to who to blame for the situation not being resolved
