No one ever said it was illegal to talk to LSU brass, it is just extremely illogical to discuss witness testimony in an upcoming federal trial due to the danger of inadvertently perjuring oneself if the stories do not match word for painstaking word. You had better believe that the defendants lawyers would bend over backwards to find any inconsistencies in WW's testimony vs his statements in any meeting/interview with LSU and the NCAA.
