I can’t wait for these clowns to discover the Aristocrats joke and how many people have said it.
Even that, while tasteless and indicative of a rottenness at the core of many of these comedians is different, because it's clearly a type of performance art and one can see the point of it, even if one doesn't think the juice is worth the squeeze, so to speak.
I know that you could respond that my not seeing the same thing in Gunn's tweets is just "like your opinion, man", but that is essentially advocating for the abolition of all standards of decency, which, again, is absurd IMO.
The damned thing about it all is that the people who (not you, I'm talking about the culture makers) are advocating for the abolition of decency standards aren't ACTUALLY doing what they seem to be doing. They just want different standards of decency.
For example, by their standards, it's acceptable to make jokes that imply that the comedian is an actual pedophile or would like to be. That's ok. But it's now beyond the pale to make fun of trannies or to wear blackface or to have locker-room talk about the types of floozies who flock to billionaires.
That's postmodernism, and it's destructive and evil.
