Both sides have been acting in what appears to be against their own self-interests. It's strange.
Neither Wade nor his atty is out there defending him. There may or may not be more leaks implicating him in the future but those leaks would hurt him whether or not he denies everything today. So he might as well deny...now. If problems arise and IF he gets subpoenaed (that's a big if) he could plead the 5th.
With LSU, they allowed the NCAA to bully their way into any possible meeting with Wade. Why would team LSU allow themselves to hear Wade's responses for the first time in front of the NCAA? Why not get his answers first, and get their story right? That's nuts.
