Glorious. I received today a $9K bill from the ER where my son arrived already deceased. Insurance covered 75% of it.
ETA - Sorry 80% of it which is normal. WTF did they do for my child though? Continue life support? frick frick I WANT TO BREAK DOWN A BUILDING frick.
Instead of answers or a body to lay to rest I have a bill. This world is messed up.

I’m not sure how big the company you work for is but I would call the benefits department and ask them to help deal with it. If not them, then maybe an attorney, I assume you have engaged one by now.
