It seems like he’ll be back tomorrow after the last interview. I assume he’s denied everything. So there wont be any reason for him to be witheld from the game.

He's probably clear to play but LSU won't make a public announcement until just prior to game time.
I believe the LSU admin is being cautious due to the rumors that another media hit piece is supposed to come out during "tournament time". Tonight would be good timing for maximum effect. All the top conference tournament seeds play tomorrow. I'm sure they are concerned that it might included LSU again. Geez, I hope not. We need the heat in another direction.

My guess is that LSU admin is reeling. The "bad things uncovered" aren't easily tied into Wade and Smart, not all by themselves.
So they suspend Wade but don't fire him (yet), they hold Smart out but can't pin anything there.
They want to look like they are taking steps to fix things, but the shitstorm is at a much higher level, and Smart doesn't make any difference. They're dragging their feet in denial, dreaming they can somehow keep this contained.
Sadly, Dickie V might have had the best suggestion- suspend everything right away. Looking back, we might have agreed that would have been the best move, but they didn't have the balls to take that step. And they didn't have the balls to stonewall either. Instead, we're watching as they half-arse and that blows up.

Because Joe Alleva is a corrupt, cowardly racist slave driver that needs to be arrested. Profiting off the backs of his student athletes. Wish he had their best interest at heart like Will Wade.
