Here’s my stab.
I think there will be a Peggy/ Cap angle with the time stone. Maybe Thanos tempts Cap with going back so he can be with her. Shows him what could have been.They keep showing her, or referencing her.
I need to watch the scene again where he’s at her bedside when she’s dying. Something about that is bothering me now. I can’t put my finger on it.

He's not there when she dies. That voiceover is from him visiting her during The Winter Soldier.
During Civil War, he gets a text from a UK number that says, "She passed in her sleep".

Ant-Man can tempt him with that. So no I don’t buy it. Plus Thanos would still eventually wipe out half of all life anyway. Only the most selfish fricking a-hole would take that deal from Thanos.
