The FBI did not leak the tapes who ever did it broke the law. As far as the reporter I don’t think FOIA applies to an open investigation. The anonymous source is the Defendents attorneys. They are trying to establish that the bad guys here are the Coaches and the shoe company’s and they are going to do it in the court of public opinion. If WW was the target of the investigation he would have long since been indicted

I am guessing more is going to get dropped at the appropriate times with the tournament approaching.
Those attorneys get paid to help their clients they gives a damn who gets burned in the process. Hopefully that’s all they had on WW and are moving on to bigger fish.

Sorry , but no, the judge in Dawkin's trial did not allow the tape to be entered into evidence, he did allow Dawkins lawyer to read a transcript of the tape in court, that made it public record.

"A transcript of Wade’s conversation with Dawkins was read in court but not allowed into evidence by Judge Lewis A. Kaplan on grounds of relevance."

Or maybe the threat of dropping more gets the settlement they want without having to reveal the rest, and the blue bloods get off scott free again and LSU was used only to show they could do it and is just collateral damage.
