I agree with your statement on face value. However, not being able to discuss a federal court case against someone else, does not keep Wade from coaching. J&F knew exactly what was going on, and are using this as a convenient excuse to distance themselves from Wade while things happen.

These two absolute clowns are worried about optics of reporters. Newsflash: reporters do not decide guilt of innocence. Wait for evidence is what I think they should have done. If J&F think that these suspensions will have any positive affect IF the ncaa does any sort of actual investigation, is foolish. Besides, when is the last time the ncaa did something in a timely fashion? IF the ncaa wants to dig up dead bodies, it will be years from now.

Effectively, what these suspensions show is a willingness to accept guilt without proof, and jump on the hand grenade for all of the people involved here.
