They have made it clear that they do not play by the rules. EVER. If you can't adapt, you lose. They opened Pandora's box. The way you close it is to shove it up their arse until they beg for legislation making it harder to do in the future. Got it? That's how you get them to play by the rules. You play by the rules until they cheat, then once they establish that's how their gonna do shite, you ramp that shite up and make them submit when you have the chance. Then when you have your foot on their throat, you make an offer. Close the loopholes. Make it harder in the future. Then the problem is solved.

You say that except the NEA has been on the books for 40 years and no Democrat has ever used it as a naked power grab like Trump is doing right now. Rationalize your support for it however you please, but the facts don’t back up your assertion.

Exactly. I don’t understand why Repulbicans continue to constantly step on their own dicks in a race to be “principled” at the cost of not getting anything accomplished.
The Dems will do whatever the want next time in power (and media will carry their water). Republicans like Rand and others will complain about the “abuse of power”. But that’s it. It’ll just be words, even if he is right. Dems will force their legislation through and get whatever policies they want. This is how they win.
