I agree, but Blair actually does the same thing, a lot. I think Blair is very professional in terms of delivery (except when he sometimes makes it sound like something is a routine fly ball, with his lack of emotion, and it ends up being a double off the wall), but he tends to describe all the different things that are happening in the play, and takes a while to get to the point of whether the runner is safe or out.
