I remember a Sammy Seamster played running back from Minden. Very talented.

Like myself, Sammy was a Minden boy. Reports I'm hearing say he had a heart attack. Only 49 years old. Hard to believe two of the best backs in MHS history (Seamster and Raymond Tate) have passed in the last couple of years,& from the same thing. RIP Bunny

Oh, no. I remember Sammy Seamster played his tail off in that game vs Florida State in the downpour in Tiger Stadium, back in 1991. That doesn't seem that long ago, and he's too young to die.
