Regulating commerce is actually a constitutional function of fedgov so states rights don’t apply here

Mama BFIV bought a used car about 5 years ago that originated in California. The emission control system and sensors on that thing were ridiculous. I don't know about the newer vehicles, but that thing had 5 oxygen sensors where the non California vehicle of the same make and year had 2 oxygen sensors. It was a PITA and expensive endeavor to replace them. She got rid of it, thank goodness.
