More elective than income tax tbh

Property tax is much harder to avoid and it's something you pay the rest of your life. It also makes it very difficult to afford to own rental property or to receive and hold on to inherited or recreational property.

A very many number businesses and citizens avoid income tax all the time with very little effort. Much of it legal. There are entire industries propped up around it. You also don't pay it your entire life. Eventually you retire.

Don't own property, don't pay the tax. 9ts quite simple.

It's priced in, this is a terrible arguement.

You don't think you pay tax on money just because you retire? Unless you are retiring entirely on Roths or regular investment accounts (you aren't) you are wrong.

Tax planning is infinitely easier with property tax than income tax.
