I binged the whole thing yesterday while the weather was almost as shitty as I was feeling.
***** Warning: HERE THERE BE SPOILERS *****
Interesting premise for a series. I can't help but wonder what came of the other kids (the ones Hargreeves didn't get).
Notes & Critiques:
--There were a few points where people found each other that left me with "WTF" moments (like Allison finding Vanya on the street when she was out looking for her to tell her about the family meeting).
--Time travel is a bitch. They did some interesting things with it with #5's return though.
--The actor that played #5 did an incredible job of coming across as a much older person. I was a bit annoyed at times though on how the writing seemed to give him incredible skill with his powers (fight seen in the doughnut shop) and at other times he was unable to use them in an as effective manner (the department store fight, the final fight at the theater).
--Hargreeves story is somewhat explained at the end, just wish they had delved into it a little more.
--Where the frick did Pogo come from? We never got even a hint of his back story.
--Ellen Page is slowly morphing into Janeane Garofalo.
--If Hargreeves had not killed himself in order to bring everyone together to stop the apocalypse, the apocalypse would never have happened.
--Luthor should have consistently been much stronger (like #5, the writers seemed to play with his power levels too much).
--Klaus was by far the most entertaining character.
--Ellen Page's combination of deadpan emoting and sadness were perfect for the Vanya character.
All in all it was pretty decent. It was just quirky enough without being overly so to keep my attention through most of it. I might check it out a season 2 if one comes out, but it won't be on my "OMFG I GOTTA WATCH IT NOWWW" list.

I liked it, binged it yesterday.
Wish we would have gotten a flashback/backstory on Ben and how he died. Also agree a quick backstory on Pogo would also be nice since we did learn how Grace comes to be made.
SPOILERS:
In the next season...since they are all younger...wonder if it is before Ben dies...and do they also try to prevent his death. Also...how come Ben's ghost is the same age as the rest of them...they make it seem like he dies young.
Overall...liked it and will check out season 2. Didn't realize the singer from My Chemical Romance wrote the comics.
