It isn’t acceptable.
According to your mindset, it is perfectly acceptable.

It has zero impact apparently and if teams are good enough, they should be able to beat the other teams and the refs.

But me personally I have always had the mentality that I won’t blame the refs. That the players could have done something to win the game regardless of a bad call. I’m not looking to blame someone else first and foremost like so many others.
So, it is perfectly acceptable for refs to try and fix games.

I never said it had zero impact of even implied it Bubba.

When I was a young lad playing little league baseball there was a coach who every time his kids team would lose he would want to file a protest and blame the umps. Even as a youngster I was embarrassed for him. Embarrassed for my buds that were on that team. I told myself I wouldn’t ever blame the refs when my squad loses. I don’t think I have done it since then. I always look at my self or my squad. What could we have done to change the outcome. Prior to going to the ultimate cop out as placing all the blame on the officials.
