I think it’s important for career women to have the choice. I think an 18 month program is fine. France has had great success and it’s an excellent way to close gap on gender pay because many women work part time or need to quit when they have a baby. It’s a fact many women fall behind in their careers. Still, starting government schools for babies is wrong move. Trained babysitters would be a more worthy government jobs program. I also think about this for white birth rates which are steadily declining.
