Our daughter wants to do a year abroad in HS. Anyone ever let their child do this? Most of my questions are about the academic side of things.
I studied in England/europe for 2 years during undergrad.
I taught several hs exchange students very important skills that could come in handy one day or night. She'll get to learn a lot. A whooooole lot. It's like we were all rabbits. No inhibitions. No cares. Great times.
For those that come after me, I vote yes. You should definitely send your little girl to Europe for the "experiences."

Oh I'm sure she's all about the cultural and academic "enrichment".
Your wife convince you this is a reasonable idea?
