quote:"Religion must begin to recognize entrepreneurship for what it is—a vocation. The ability to succeed in business, stock trading, or investment banking is a talent. Like other gifts, it should not be squandered, but used to its fullest for the glory of God. Critics link capitalism with greed, yet the fundamental nature of the entrepreneurial vocation is to focus on the needs of customers. To succeed, the entrepreneur must serve others." LINK
If you read the Bible, Jesus didn’t like poor people. He hung out with irs agents and commercial fishermen and he made the blind bums dig around in the dirt to find his spit and get their sight back
Jesus was a republican

Lydia was an entrepreneur and not called to repent of that. The tax collectors weren’t told to quit their jobs but to stop taking more than they were assigned to take.
Property rights and capitalistic philosophy dominate the scriptures from an economic standpoint. The “communism” of Acts was actually charitable and free giving, not forced redistribution of wealth. Even the slaying of Ananias and Saphira was due to fraud and lying, not their desire to profit from selling their property.
