A lot of people expressing their own opinions of what they think God says. Nowhere is there a search of the scripture mentioned here or in the many articles written on this subject.
It would be a very short discussion if they just went to the scripture. It is stated plainly and does not require any interpretation.
Good rule of thumb is, the parts of the Bible you disagree with should be read daily.

Another good rule of thumb is to think about your core beliefs and the search for every verse that says something about that topic. You will end up finding that most ever denomination picks and chooses what they want to believe. All of the hard truths are watered down to appease the masses.

The problem begins with believing that the Bible is the unerring word of God rather than a flawed document created by flawed men.
