Remove the violent aspect of Muslim culture, and I've seen a similar dynamic with Hispanics in Texas. When I moved to DFW 20 years ago, the Hispanic component of the population wasn't nearly what it is today. As I said in another thread about a week or so ago, I lived in Texas for about 7 years before I encountered a single person of Hispanic origin who was a jerk. Not kidding.

But today? Much more of a hot-and-miss proposition, and that's a bit of an understatement. As their numbers have swelled here in Texas, I have noticed a much different attitude, and let's just say it's not for the better.

But, at least Hispanics share the same God as us. They don't blow shite up in the name of Allah.
