He has made big mistakes

Don't sack him postumously for past indiscretions NOW when there is:

1. Evidence of actually becoming a really good GM on a leash that was previously very short

2. That leash now being virtually cut, plus all the experience he has gained over the past 10 years

3. Who is going to come in and do an amazing job from day dot?
