Are you saying AC Origins being so good that it makes past installments worse?
I agree with this statement. A game that didn't ruin past installments but changed how I looked at them was the item and exploration systems in Breath of the Wild. I want to explore in that detail where I find myself pissed I can't go to a point like in BoTW.

I also feel like I can't go back to play the GoW games. The new God of War was my first interaction with the franchise. It renders past installments cartoons.
